The Penn State Cheerleaders and Lionettes are a vital force in promoting school pride and supporting all aspects of the athletic department. The determination and discipline displayed by the team serves as an inspiration to the University and community at large. The cheerleaders and Lionettes are an active force in campus activities, such as supporting Alumni Association activities, spirit week, special events, Homecoming, welcoming honored guests, and serving as ambassadors of good will for the university and community at large.
